Looking Back on the Gaia-X Summit 2024​

The 5th Gaia-X Summit 2024 took place in Helsinki last week, on November 14–15. With over 600 participants from more than 40 countries, the event was a true success, highlighting significant progress in Gaia-X’s mission to promote secure, interoperable, and trustworthy data space ecosystems.

Hubert Tardieu, independent member of the Gaia-X Board of Directors, recently spoke at the “Data-sharing in Europe: the implementation challenge” conference, organized at Paris Dauphine-PSL University on September 12, 2024. During this conference, and in a detailed article published earlier this summer, he advocated for an innovative and cross-border European data strategy.

The AgDataHub Board of Directors Approves the Transition to Public Governance

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty announced that the company AgDataHub will transition to public governance. This measure aims to strengthen technological sovereignty and the security of agricultural and food data, while simplifying administrative procedures, supporting innovation, and optimizing public policies. AgDataHub is one of the first “Lighthouse Projects” of Gaia-X and continues to show strong development.

The Gaia-X Hub France is proud to announce the launch of its brand-new website. This portal, accessible at www.gaia-x-hub.fr, marks a new step in promoting digital sovereignty and strengthening the data-sharing ecosystem in Europe.
