Data spaces within the Gaia-X ecosystem are generally organized and created by stakeholders from the same sector, domain, or industry. They organize themselves, define governance, and create a data space where they can exchange data with trust.
The Gaia-X Hub France’s mission is to incubate and support the emergence of data spaces. Here is a list of data spaces based on Gaia-X concepts, in which French companies are active.

Inspired by the Gaia-X initiative, EONA-X is a European project dedicated to creating a data-sharing space for the mobility, transport, and tourism sectors.

Catena-X
The ambition at the heart of Catena-X’s vision is to build a collaborative data exchange across the entire global automotive value chain. The CATENA-X hub relies on two strong networks: PFA, which brings together the automotive sector in France, and its partner GALIA, a historic player in data exchange standardization.
