Gaia-X is a European initiative aimed at developing a common data infrastructure. Gaia-X provides standards and tools that enable all economic actors to create interoperable data spaces, within which participants can exchange data with trust, controllability, portability and interoperability across data and services.
A data space is a collaboration of organizations within a particular field or sector, that establishes its own governance and domain-specific rules based on Gaia-X principles. The aim is to exchange data and services while maintaining control.
The purpose of data spaces is to bring together all stakeholders within a trusted framework, to scale operations, and ensure the reliability, transparency, and replicability of exchanges.
The French Gaia-X Hub offers videos and free, open training sessions to help you better understand the benefits and uses of Gaia-X-compliant data spaces for your organization.
